The work of Together Norfolk is shaped by the communities we serve in Kings Lynn and West Norfolk and Great Yarmouth
There is no single Together Norfolk programme that we reproduce from place to place. Instead, our Development Workers build relationships locally, listen to churches and communities and help people identify opportunities to work together.
That means our work can include community development, practical support, children and young people, schools, wellbeing, social connection, volunteering, partnership development and much more.
What connects it all is a simple belief:
Local people and organisations already hold many of the relationships, gifts and ideas needed to help their communities flourish. Our role is to help connect and strengthen them.

Across King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, churches are increasingly discovering what becomes possible when we listen, connect and work together.
Together Norfolk helps build relationships between churches, community organisations and strategic partners; supports collaborative community development; strengthens work with children, young people and schools; and creates opportunities for Christians from across
traditions to serve their communities together.
There is a growing sense that this is not simply about individual projects, but about building a stronger culture of collaboration across the whole area.
Our work in Great Yarmouth
Across Great Yarmouth there are many churches filled with people who care deeply about their communities both urban and rural.
There are charities doing remarkable work in many aspects of our vibrant communities:
Neighbourhood groups, schools, public services, volunteers and local leaders with experience, ideas and relationships. There are residents of many different nationalities and faiths with gifts, passions and hopes for the places they call home. Together Norfolk helps connect them.
How our work grows
Often our work begins long before a project has a name.

so that trust and collaboration can grow.

through networks, training, resources and shared learning.
Support action
helping locally led ideas become practical collaborative responses.
